Basskaran Nair is Adjunct Faculty, Executive Programmes, at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS. He was Head of the Singapore Government’s Press Department, and later headed the Communication and Corporate Marketing positions at DBS Bank and CapitaLand Group of companies. He has authored several books on communication issues. In 2022, he was inducted into the first Singapore Media Industry Hall of Fame for outstanding and lasting contribution to the media profession and industry. He travels extensively since retiring from corporate life.
