It’s dim sum promotions galore at Peach Garden Chinese Restaurant. The chain has cut various deals for both its a la carte and buffet dim sum offerings differing on location, so make your plans according.
Silvers looking to snack on dim sum for high tea should head to the restaurant’s Chinatown Point and Thomson Plaza outlets, where they can get 50% off on weekdays between 3pm to 5pm. That same deal applies for its Heeren outpost too, inclusive of a la carte items and the weekend and public holidays (though it drops to 30% then).
For now, there’s also a limited-time offer for its 22nd anniversary where any customer with the digit two in their NRIC can get 50% off dim sum, even during dinner.
Those looking for a full-on dim sum feast might instead prefer Peach Garden’s weekend high-tea buffet. It costs $33.80++ for adults at Chinatown Point, though one diner gets to go free for every three paying adults – this works out to about 30 bucks nett per head.

Don’t be fooled by Black Society’s broody moniker – this is a place for family-style Cantonese food with a hint of modern influences in both the decor and dining.
The longstanding restaurant recently moved from VivoCity to quieter digs in the UBS Building at Orchard, where it continues to serve traditional dim sum staples like har gow and siew mai alongside cutesy pig-shaped baos and deep-fried yam fritters styled like a graceful swan.
While the brand doesn’t have a specific senior discount, they do offer 30% off the entire dim sum menu during high tea every day except Sunday and public holidays from 2.30pm to 5pm.

Diners get 90 minutes to scarf down dim sum fare Steamed Pork Dumplings, Steamed Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf and Deep-fried Prawn Dumplings.

Though you are paying slightly higher compared to some of the other restaurants on this list – $30.80++ on weekdays and $33.80++ on weekends – it’s well worth the money if you’ve got the appetite to back it up.
After all, you’ll also get to order fresh seafood like chilli crab, prawns, clams and fish to go with your handcrafted dumplings and custard buns. It’s available only at Swatow Seafood’s Toa Payoh branch, so don’t head to the wrong outlet.
