Unless you’ve been living under a rock and ignoring the persistent cries of ‘SG60, SG60’ all over Singapore, you probably know that this year marks the nation’s 60th year since independence.
Naturally, a major milestone such as this calls for an equally outsized celebration, which is why SG60 celebrations are already underway in a proper Singaporean fashion – we’re talking vouchers, discounts and of course, a huge fireworks display when it all comes together at the National Day Parade (NDP).
With just a month to go before August, hotels and rooftop restaurants near the Padang are already preparing for the SG60 festivities with themed F&B deals and heritage staycation packages.
If enjoying fireworks up close is at all your speed, we’d recommend moving fast to secure your spots before they’re all snapped up closer to the big day.
For now, read on for a list of spots bringing on the SG60 fever in a big way.
