Get a taste of the acclaimed Keukenhof botanical garden — The Netherland’s national treasure, and home to one of the world’s largest tulip collections — at Tulipmania 2024, an annual flower festival now in its tenth year at Gardens By The Bay’s Flower Dome.
This year, they’re returning to their Dutch roots with a display reminiscent of a traditional tulip field where over 54,000 bulbs and more than 20 varietals of the vibrant bloom are laid out in an eye-catching display.
While it won’t be as huge as the real Keukenhof, which typically features over 7 million flowers, it does mean that you’re able to get a taste of the famed spring affair without having to travel all the way to Holland.
The kicker? It’ll cost you just $8 – assuming you’re a senior aged 60 and up – for entry into the Flower Dome.

Tulipmania 2024: Over 20 varietals of tulips, some new
As is tradition, each Tulipmania brings with it all-new varietals. This year, look out for the Tulipa Purple Circus (top left), a purple and white tulip with unique feathering on the petals, as well as the Tulipa Crown of Dynasty, a pink crown tulip that deepens its hue as it matures.
Shades of Holland at the Flower Dome
Tulipmania 2024 will also be featuring other touches to help immerse you into the spring tulip experience in Europe – and we’re not just talking about the Flower Dome’s mighty air-conditioning.
You can also expect other iconic touches reminiscent of the Netherlands, including the well-loved windmill, watermill and farmhouses of the country, now updated with modern elements like wind turbines and vertical farms.
This Dutch focus calls back to the original iteration of Tulipmania back in 2013.
Other themes that’ve emerged over the years include a fairytale theme, featuring Hansel and Gretel among others; a trek through Central Asia and the Ottoman Empire, the birthplace of the modern tulip; a marriage of Vincent Van Gogh’s art and the tulip; and finally, just last year, shining the spotlight on Turkey, where tulips were a prized bloom for most of the nation’s history.
